  Once again our family had a great time at Banjos, this time celebrating and my Mum‘s 70th birthday. It is my parents 5th visit to Banjos and what Mum wanted... read more for her birthday. The reason our family love Banjos so much is because no matter the weather there is always something to do for everyone of all ages. The kids really loved feeding the wildlife and we enjoyed playing games and using the recreational facilities. The fireplace is lovely in winter. Thank you Jenny and Malcolm, we love Banjos and look forward to visiting again in the future.

The beauty of nature we were wrapped in along with the gorgeous weather and abundant entertaining wildlife ensured our short stay was filled with joy and fun.

With floor to ceiling windows in every room it felt like we were living in a treehouse. The recreation room is a bonus that kept us entertained during our stay with plenty of tennis, snooker and table tennis. All this in a peaceful bush location.

  The only issue that we had with Banjo's was that it should have been longer. Every detail has been (extremely) well considered for your stay - including the things you... read more forgot - so that made the stay very comfortable. It was quite surreal to walk into the cabin (we stayed in Swagman's rest) and step from wild bushland surrounded by curious fauna - into an upmarket retreat.

Two huge bedrooms, each with ensuite, all immaculately laid out. Every pillow, cup, utensil, commodity in a logical place - extremely clean. Reassuring messages everywhere to assure the place is thoroughly prepared between each guest. Jenny followed up multiple times to make sure everything was ready and ok with our stay - you don't usually get communication like that these days.

We stayed for a few days just on site before we needed to go in search of food (you must bring all of your supplies!!). It was great to slow down and just walk through the bushland or enjoy the rec centre, which was a favourite with the kids. We then ventured further north to the Allyn River for some wild swimming. Shame to leave. Great times.

The... read more cottages are clean and the all amenities you require are there. Wildlife, kangaroos, birds, possums come back year after year and we feel like we know them and their families.

The children love coming back, and always look forward to their "bush house" weekend. For the adults its relaxing and the fire is cosy and well stocked with wood.

Highly recommend for family groups with young children. The play equipment was a great bonus for them to play on. Great place not too far from Sydney with plenty of things to do. A bush walk to the lagoon which included a swim for the dare devils, great competition at the recreation lodge by all and relaxing time with reading, eating and drinking at the end of each day was definitely a plus.
