Morpeth was established in 1821 on the banks of the Hunter River and was once a thriving river port.
The town has been classified by the National Trust and is a popular place for tourists to visit and enjoy the historic buildings, craft shops, antiques, cafes and galleries.
Dungog is a quaint little town, near to the start of the Barrington Tops Wilderness Area, where you can enjoy some of the magnificent scenery. Impressive flora and fauna, stunning views and waterfalls are all on offer at The Barrington Tops. The area is popular with bushwalkers, and for those who want something a little less active can drive to some of the lookouts.
The Hunter Valley wineries are a wonderful place for a day out and to stock up the cellar.
Enjoy some of the best wines Australia has to offer.
Get a birds eye view of the Valley from a hot air balloon, or take a flight in an historic Tiger Moth plane.
